The Continental Club is one of Austin's most well-established and longest-running rock, blues, and country bar. You can typically find a minimum of two live concerts happening on any given night, and where there's live music in Austin, there are cougars. You'll know as soon as you enter Pete's Duelling Piano Bar that it's a place to get a little raucous by the fact that there's a huge illuminated sign on the main stage that says, "SING LOUD". Not only are the dozens of cougars that you'll find there on any given night spending their night singing loudly, but also the bar's wait staff. So if you don't like a little off-key singing, we suggest you try somewhere else. We're not so sure we agree that it's the be all/end all of Austin cougar bars, but if you're there on the right night, there can be a sometimes overwhelming number of cougars competing for the young beefcakes that are there with their friends, enjoying a pitcher or two. The fact that the majority of the bar is an outdoor patio requires the weather to be nice to take full advantage of the Dogwood.

Meat, right? And maybe a little bit of wine. Estancia Brazilian Steakhouse has both of those things in huge quantities. It's not a matter of quantity before quality though. Both the food, wine, and women here are A+, and will most likely stay on your mind weeks later. BT2 isn't as close to downtown if you're in town for business, but it's well-worth the expensive cab ride up the highway to get to experience one of Austin's funnest LGBT clubs. We love going on Taco Tuesdays (really, anywhere that has a cheap taco night, we're going to probably recommend it). You'll find great drink specials on top of banging jams spun by some of the city's best DJs. The fun atmosphere is one of the reasons you're more likely to find lesbian cougars here than one of the perhaps more popular downtown LGBT clubs in Austin.
